The Mustang Shop buys out B&M Classic Ford
Posted 06-18-10
We have just closed a deal to purchase the entire assets of B&M Classic Ford. B&M is the company which had originally purchased the inventory from the Wild West Classic Mustang Ranch when it closed down in 2005, and had until now operated a retail parts store in Monroe, WA. They had a very well established inventory that will significantly boost our stocking levels and help us supply parts even more efficiently. We will be making a concentrated moving effort over the next two weeks and look forward to the improvement in stocking levels and organization.

Project Photo Gallery Update
Posted 10-16-09
Shop Blog I had a few emails claiming that there was a problem in some browsers displaying the detail photos in the project gallery area. Well I finally looked into it, should be taken care of now. It's always worked fine in IE, but now also tested and fixed (or rather, "accomodated for") in Chrome/Firefox. Let me know if anyone still sees a problem.

And no, when it comes to scripting issues, mobile browsers don't count (yet anyway).... >

For all those wondering what I was towing around
Posted 06-29-09

Since I've now gotten a few emails asking what was on the trailer, yes it was a (badly) wrecked '08 Shelby GT. No, it wasn't ours, belonged to a poor customer just out for a day at the track. This car is being parted out in an effort to recover what he can out of the car. All saleable parts will be listed on eBay, so watch our auctions over the next week or two..

Guide to swapping a 4.6l modular motor into an early Mustang
Posted 01-15-09
Swapping a late-model modular engine into early Mustangs is rapidly becoming of the most popular motor swaps to do. However, it's more than a simple drop-in experience. A number of years ago we did what was possibly the first mod motor swap into a '65 fastback - Since then many more and it's one of the main specialities of the shop here. I've begun to compile a pretty comprehensive guide to what's involved in doing these motor swaps. If you are considering doing such a conversion, or have already begun one, this guide should help with the details of the major areas needing attention to make your project a go.
