Inspection Services

Looking at buying or selling a classic Mustang or other vintage Ford? Or maybe you're thinking about pulling the old car out of the garage and getting it back on the road? We offer a 130-point inspection service that will give you a thorough report on all aspects of the vehicle from mechanical condition of the suspension and brakes, functional operation of the electrical systems, to the cosmetic condition of the interior and exterior trim. The service takes about and hour, and can be scheduled to be done while you wait.

For those purchasing a car, particularly if you have limited or no experience with classic vehicles, this can be an invaluable service to prepare you for the costs and maintenance associated with owning a vintage car. Often new or potential owners of classic cars can be very unprepared for the effort that can be required on an older car, so we can take the time to walk you through a vehicle from start to finish and give you an honest and unbiased opinion of a car's history AND future. Learning where the condition of a car is at, what it needs so be safe and reliable, and what maintenance it's likely to need down the road will keep it a fun and rewarding experience rather than a constant and costly headache.

For those selling a vintage car, we can perform an inspection and present it to you in a professionally formatted report suitable for presentation with your advertisement. Not only will the information contained within your report be beneficial to the buyer as an honest and unbiased evaluation, the fact in itself that a seller is willing to share a vehicle report is often one of the most compelling factors in who to purchase a vehicle from.

A sampling of what our inspection report detail includes:

  • Suspension - Bushings, ball joints, shocks, steering, brakes
  • Engine - Mounts, seals, linkage, fluids, ignition, belts
  • Chassis - Floors, frame rails, body panels
  • Electrical - Wiring condition, operation, previous repairs
  • Interior - Windows, instrumentation, trim, weatherstripping
