About Us
Company History - Staff - Facility - Local Vendors
Having had enough of the technology world after the demise of the dot-com phenomenon, the owner turned to his passion for cars. Mustangs
had been a hobby for a number of years, cars and parts were being flipped for side cash, and suddenly there were a few
complete restoration projects taken on through a word of mouth basis. Soon the back yard shop was getting
overwhelmed as it turned into more work than anticipated. The Mustang Shop LLC was officially formed in 2001 after many years
in the hobby, and it became a full time undertaking at that point. Soon it was more than one could handle, and the
business was fortunate to take on a full time employee to pick up some of the slack - As well as bringing even
more experience to the table.
At the start of 2006, restorations and custom work was overwhelming, and the "go big or go home" decision was made. The
company took on a working partner to build up the finances necessary to take things
to the next step. We secured an excellent location in a brand new building in Auburn, WA, and construction began.
By May of 2006, we were finally moved into our new facility and getting the shop up to speed. The showroom was soon
to follow, and by July we had both the shop and retail showroom open to the public.
We were able to be a major headline sponsor for the 2006 Mustang Roundup in Bellevue held by Mustangs Northwest.
The Roundup was a great success both for us as well as the club, and we were suddenly and officially on the map as the premier
Mustang parts and restoration facility in the North West.
We deal in new and used parts, and our services include everything from regular maintenance to ground-up restorations,
custom engine building, bodywork, interior and performance. From the simple early classics to the high tech modern cars, we
handle anything and everything when it comes to Mustangs.
In addition to Mustangs, we also look forward to seeing just about any other Ford-powered vehicle in the shop. Lightning
trucks, kit cars and Cobra replicas, and hot rods of any vintage - They all bleed the same color here. We can build you a hot rod
from scratch or lend a had with your replica assembly. If you are looking to purchase a replica or hot rod, give us a call and we'd be happy to discuss the options
available.
