'00 F350 SuperDuty
My 2000 Superduty. I had a '99 for about 5 months and decided I didn't like a tan interior OR
the automatic, so long story short, I drove 2300 miles to go get one in the right color
with the right tranny and all the right options. Here it is :)
2000 F-350, XLT, crew cab, longbed, dual rear wheels, PowerStroke diesel (no more gas for me! =]),
6-speed manual, 4 wheel drive. It's also a Centurion conversion truck. They did some really
nice work to it - J&J stainless full-length lighted running boards, 10" stainless drop bumper
with aux backup lights, front fender flares to match the rear dually fenders, and a painted bug shield.
Wedgewood blue exterior with gray interior. No lariat for me since they only come with tan right now (bleh).
Included in the deal was having the front windows tinted and the bed Line-X'd (can't live without that!),
which got taken care of by the dealer a few days after I got it home.

Of course, nothing can be left in stock condition very long, so the modifications have
started. I'll break this up into a few seperate articles since I seem to be rather long-winded
in my descriptions of things... This will make it easier.
Painless Wiring Fusebox - A very cool unit, a must have if
you plan to add any electronics.
Mudflaps - Nice heavy ones from Centurion with stainless
anti-sails and no obnoxious bracketry.
Overhead Console - With all its gadgets :)
Frontend Replacement - My homemade bumper/grille gaurd.
Warn 12,000lbs Winch - Not many people can pull this one, better do
it yourself. Plus really cool jumper cables!
Power Inverter - Handy 120v outlets built into the dash and bed.
(Unfinished Articles)
Western Diesel Chip - It's true, once you try one, you can't go back... More Power!
4-Inch Straight Exhaust - Turbo to tip, no muffler (for now).
2-Wheel Low Lock - Lock out the front hubs so you can use low gearing on dry ground.
Western Diesel Gauges - Pyro and boost gauges on the pillar.
(Unfinished Articles)
Manual Exhaust Brake - Using the factory EBV with no wire cutting!
Ignition Bypass - Leave the truck running and take the keys, anti-theft included.
High Idle Circuit - Adjustible high idle control.
I recently put on a set of VentShades. The look really great on the truck with the
dark color and the lines. The primary reason I bought them was because the way the body wraps
smoothly around from the windshield to the windows, if the front driver's window is cracked the slightest bit, when
you hit the wipers they push all of the water right down over [into] the window. With these I'm
able to have the window down a ways without having to get water all over the door. They also keep some
sun out and do deflect the wind well. No pictures yet, batteries quit right when I was going to take the photo.
